This little Wi-Fi security camera is quite versatile, works very well, gives good wide-angle images including in low-light conditions, is easy to set up and has a speaker and microphone for 2-way audio. You access it with an app on your smartphone which is also quite easy to install and use. There are obviously LOTS of applications: entryway, backyard or other around-the-home locations, nursery, reception area for a small office, and so on. It’s supposed to be for indoor and outdoor use but I recommend it be placed in a sheltered location where there is some protection from the elements. And because it’s not wired-in – the 4 AA batteries will need to be changed occasionally, they say a few times a year - this is not something you want to mount in a really difficult-to-reach area. Mounting is very easy too: the camera itself fits into a magnetic base which is attached either with adhesive or a screw to some stable surface. If you’re using it indoors I suppose it can just be set on something stable. I have not used the cloud-based storage but if you catch something interesting with it you have the images on your phone to keep. At $79.99 it seems quite reasonably-priced I think. I have had no problems with this device, have found it very useful and am glad I got it.

After setting this camera up to watch my driveway, I've been very impressed. The video quality from the 2K sensor is real sharp and clear, which makes it easy to see details during the day and at night. It has a 170-degree wide-angle lens and it covers my entire driveway plus a good chunk of the front yard. What I especially like is the AI human detection. It sends me alerts that actually matter but it doesn't get triggered by every single car that drives past. The two-way audio is clear enough for a quick conversation. Connecting it to my Wi-Fi was painless, the app walked me through it in just a few minutes, but i've done similar one before.

I ordered this camera and received it very quickly. Then I noticed that it was no longer being offered for sale. That's too bad, because I think it's a good camera. Hopefully it's just because there is an updated version of it being offered. It was a bit fussy to set up, though. I was stepping through the process of loading the software and initializing the camera smoothly at first, but then when the camera needed to recognize my network, it wouldn't. I get that it needs 2.4ghz, but modern networks run both 2.4 and 5 using the same SSID, so I expect the device to be smart enough to figure that one out. This camera had issues with that even after multiple do-overs. Finally I reset the camera and started again, and this time it went through the setup instantly, and has worked fine ever since. I'm was pleased with the uHome software that is needed - it seems to be very polished. The images from the camera are really great - lots of detail and good color. I like that the camera needs no wires at all - either for power or signal. I get gentle alerts on my phone when it's triggered - but that's all configurable if you hate such interruptions. You can set how long it records when triggered, so the battery life is somewhat in your own hands. I've been using it for a couple days, and the batteries don't indicate any drop in power yet. That will depend in part upon how many triggers you get, though. I'm a fan of this convenient camera. Recommended.

This is a great little security camera. Simple to setup and install. The Myhome app is easy to use for setting up the camera and viewing the live feed or doing playback. Camera power is by four "AA" batteries which are included. This makes it real easy to install anywhere as no power cord is required and it is WiFi control. I recommend this product!
